What’s Next? The Sanders Slate

Bernie by Bertman

I believe Bernie can still have massive influence over the political process, even without being the presidential nominee.

What’s next? Starting today, Bernie should “open source” his political platform so that anyone can run on it at the state and local level.

Then, select a few dozen congressional races where he would actively support the candidates by campaigning with them hand-in-hand, between now and November, as well as give them money from his super-powerful crowd-sourced cash engine.

In other words, I would love to see Bernie stay on the road, keep pulling huge rallies, and start building a decentralized army of mini-Bernies.

I believe he can still have massive influence over the political process, even without being the presidential nominee.

Personally, I would definitely keep giving my $27 donations for that! Beyond donating money, I would actively take part in that effort. Honestly, I wouldn’t lift a finger to help elect Clinton—that’s on the DNC’s shoulders, good luck.

Let’s focus our energies on building the emerging networks of inspiring new voices, and new political ideas, that will replace the toxic ones that are currently leading us towards our destruction.
